We are starting a Fitness Revolution where each Fire Department has our resources readily available to them so “EVERYONE GOES HOME!” Metabolic Acceleration Classes: $10Description: Some people strength train with weights while others do cardio or aerobics - somewhere between is our Metabolic Acceleration Classes, resulting in the both of both worlds. Typical results are an increase in Functional Fitness by improving cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance, mobility & preventing injuries for a cost of a Gym Membership, but you get a Coach and we come to you!. These classes prepares the body for the rigorous demands of Firefighting.. .Period! This new concept is set-up in group class with Certified Coaches using tools including Kettlebells, Battling Ropes, TRX, Bands, Med Balls, etc. There is absolutely no way to describe this workout without inviting you to try it. At anytime, you can try the class absolutely FREE at Results by Design Fitness. Fitness Assessment: $29Description: Each Firefighter will receive the following measurements: Weight, Height, Resting Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Body Composition, Sub Max Vo2 Test, Muscular Strength/Endurance & Flexibility. Individualized reports will be compiled for each client. Specifics will include; purpose of testing, interpretation of testing, category of results and generalized strategies to improve needed areas. Exercise Prescription: $129Description: Each Firefighter will undergo a Functional Movement Screen (FMS). The FMS is a ranking and grading system that documents 7 movement patterns that are key to normal functioning. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies limitations, asymmetries & injury risks. This screening is crucial in prescribing specific exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns that will be most effective in building strength, while reducing injury risks. The exercise prescription (program) will last 4-6 weeks. The Exercise prescription is all inclusive from Mobility Drills, Stretching, Corrective Exercise, Strength Training, & Energy System Work. This program will include 1 coaching session to instruct the client on all movements within the program. Simply put, you cannot just pull out random exercises, reps and sets and expect results from that. There is a 'science' to designing a program and delivering results. Onsite Coaching: $70/HourDescription: A certified Coach will be onsite to provide real time motivation, instruction, and information. All-inclusive programming from nutrition to presentation to incentive programming will be included. Statistics have shown that a Coach will produce better results than a personal trainer. Personal training is the service of guiding you through a workout. To focus just on the physicals, actually negates the client. Coaches coach People. Coaching is an all inclusive art of developing the client Mentally, Emotionally and Physically. Remember, a problem cannot be solved with the same level of thinking that caused it. Having a Coach with you every step of the way will help you to avoid the confusion and misleading info out there and Coach you to maintain fitness as a way of life not a temporary condition. A highly dedicated and motivated fitness coach will be dedicated to fitness as a career. You don’t want someone who has personal training as just a hobby or temporary job, who thinks hanging out at the gym is a social event. Look for a fitness coach that addresses more than just working out. Look for someone who will show you how to include proper eating habits, motivational strategies to keep you going with your fitness program, and gives you a detailed plan of action to get you to that body you desire in the shortest amount of time possible.
